Site Supervisor/Resident engineer for Shannon Airport Runway 06-24 Rehabilitation and Exeter Airport Runway 08-26 Rehabilitation projects. Supervised all work including Marshall (with Sealoflex) asphalt overlay of concrete runway, BBA overaly, drainage improvements and electrical works. Provided the client with monthly updates, technical advice and field daily reports and efficiently communicated early on any potential cost outruns and the project cash flow tracker. Monitored all on-site safety requirements, conducted client meetings and weekly and monthly construction progress meetings.

Conducted daily client-contractor project site meetings and followed construction progress on several commercial buildings and one new football stadium. Coordinated and planned the site activity of over 40 laborers and team leaders and coordinated the equipment and material logistics for all of our project sites. Monitored all health and safety hazards and provisions in order to comply with current legislation and prevent any potential accidents.

Prepared SWPPPs for airports in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire using both the EPA federal and DEP/DEC state and local regulations. Mitigated for groundwater recharge loss via infiltration basin design and permitted injection wells. Performed resident engineering duties on airport construction projects, including runway, taxiway and building construction. Performed construction inspection for the Runway 10L-28R Reconstruction Project at Niagara Falls International Airport.  Coordinated with electrical subcontractor all aspects of conduit, cable, runway and taxiway lights, centerline and touchdown zone in-pavement lights, threshold lights, electrical vault and tower work and PAPIs installation. Prepared daily field reports and verified as-built quantities and prepared monthly construction progress reports and issued payment certificates. Mentored junior staff and updated the Client and the Project Manager of all construction field changes.

Conducted weekly progress meetings, reviewed shop drawings, submitted change orders and change directives. Designed runway, taxiway and apron pavements and all the associated drainage, utility and electrical layout. Designed T-hangars, columns, piers and foundations and updated airport layout plans.

Civil/Site Design Engineer
Designed large commercial subdivisions for multi-tenant retail uses. Performed site, grading and utility layouts in AutoCAD 2006 and designed storm sewers, sanitary sewers and water mains to meet state, local and client standards. Analyzed and sized storm water detention ponds per state wide environmental agency policies for eliminating pollutants and reducing off-site runoff. Conducted site plan reviews and submitted site plan approval applications to various local, state and federal agencies as part of the SEQRA process. Coordinated site design process with sub-consultants and local town supervisors and/or departmental leaders.
